What: 15-20 mile community based bicycle group ride around the scenic White Rock Lake (and other routes). Average ride speeds are in the 14-16 mph range depending on the group and top speeds are in the 17-18 mph range*
Every Friday Night starting March 15th, 2019 through October 18th.
Time: Riders meet at 6.15pm, wheels down at 6.30pm
Where: Glencoe Park - 5300 Martell Ave. Dallas, Texas 75201 by the baseball diamond.
Cost: Totally free
Who: Cyclist of all skill levels
Bikes: Mostly road bikes, but also city bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes that can maintain the ride speed. Time Trial/Triathlon bikes are welcome as long as riders maintains a position which allows them to use the brakes. Fixed gear bikes are welcome but must have a hand brake.
Riding Attire: Bike shorts are a great idea but also jorts, lycra, skinny jeans, stretchy pants, aerodynamic cycling outfits, whatever you feel comfortable in (along with a helmet).
Post ride: Following the ride all are welcome to join at a local eatery for dinner and drinks.
Requirements: Wear a helmet, follow good group riding etiquette/laws and be nice.
Day of Updates: For up to date ride information, please join ‘Friday Night Spins’ Facebook group. We will typically make a go/no-go call around lunch time for weather related cancellations.

* Please be capable of these speeds. We ride steady (no surging or attacking) and do our best to keep the group together however we cannot accommodate a rider who is far off from these speeds
